The Power of Peers
When I worked in the fitness industry, I was constantly surrounded by my peers. And yet, we didn't really exchange valuable information about working with our clients/members/etc. in a way that was truly meaningful. I think there was a built in fear factor: what if that person is better than me, or a better fit for the client? But one of the most incredible things about transitioning into Generational Transfer has been that there are so many people willing to go out on a limb, and truly share with their peers.
Networking is often hard for me- but working with others in an intimate way is much easier. And having a strong network of other people who want to have a positive influence on the lives of the families they are working with has been astounding and outstanding.
So, thank you. To the people who have stepped into my life in a coaching role. And to those who have been unafraid to share their "secrets." Thank you to those who make it easier for others to connect. And thank you to those who want to share. I promise to do the same.
